Privacy Policy

Gulaabi Clean is a home-cleaning booking service operating in selected zones of Jaipur, India. We connect households with verified cleaners and handle booking, payment, and support. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.

• Phone number — used to sign you in (via a one-time password) and to contact you about a booking.
• Name — so the cleaner assigned to you knows who they are visiting.
• Service addresses and pincode — to check we serve your area and to deliver the cleaning.
• Booking and payment records — amounts, dates, service, and status. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by our payment partner and never reach our servers.
• Device notification token — so we can send you booking status updates.
• Before and after photos of the work area — where our team documents a job, so you can see what was done and so we can resolve any dispute fairly. These are taken by our team during your booking, are visible only to you and to our operations staff, and are never public or used in marketing. We delete them automatically 90 days after the job.
• App usage and diagnostics — anonymous analytics and crash reports that help us find and fix problems.

We do not collect your precise device location, your contacts, or your personal photo library, and we do not collect any data unrelated to providing the service.

We share the minimum necessary data with service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Cashfree Payments — payment processing. They are PCI-DSS compliant and handle all card/UPI details directly; we only store the transaction reference, amount, and status.
• Google Firebase — phone-number sign-in, push notifications, and anonymous analytics.
• Our hosting providers — the servers and database that run the service.
• Sentry — error monitoring, to diagnose crashes.
• The cleaner assigned to your booking — receives your name, address, and time slot so they can carry out the service.

We may also disclose data where required by law.

Prices are fixed and shown in full before you pay — the service price plus any add-ons you choose, with no hidden charges. You can pay online or in cash on service. Online payments are processed by Cashfree; we never see or store your card or UPI credentials.

We keep your account and booking history for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards where we are required to retain transaction records (for example, for tax and accounting purposes). When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your data, subject to records we must legally retain.
• Withdraw consent for processing (note this may prevent us providing the service).
• Raise a grievance about how your data has been handled.

To exercise any of these, email support@gulaabiclean.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to the staff who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Gulaabi Clean is intended for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app.
